Great cafe with a plentiful selection of drinks, breakfast and lunch food items, and a display case chock full of delicious pastries and treats! Service was helpful and friendly and our drinks were prepared quickly and expertly. The cafe mocha is perfect! I suggest walking if possible, as we did have some trouble finding parking nearby.
Best bread in town— and I mean that!! Super flavorful and hearty. All of the bakery items I’ve tried have been delicious. Woodstar is very conscientious about both vegan and gluten-free diets— all items are labeled accordingly. Would love to come back and try all their other delicious-looking offerings. Btw the employees were all super charismatic and charming to chat with. I will be returning soon and getting all my bread from here now on !!!
HEAR ME OUT. I’m a mega-fan of this place. Seriously. It deserves way more than 3 stars. I’ve been going here since it opened many moons ago. But here’s the thing: THE reason for going here is for the RASPBERRY OATMEAL MUFFIN. Not this inferior mixed berry nonsense. They took perhaps the best muffin in the history of the existence of muffins and took away its magic, and jammed in some lesser berries. I’ve waited patiently for over 2.5 years now, I’ve called and talked to many people about this every few months, but to no avail. I get that prices might be crazy, so then charge double for it, I beg of thee! Right this wrong! Undo this terrible assault to muffindom! Please, PLEASE, for the love of what’s GOOD, BRING BACK THE RASPBERRY OATMEAL MUFFIN. Use extra raspberries not less. Don’t cut corners here! I’m ready to give you SIX stars, I BELIEVE IN YOU!!!! P.S. to any fools still reading my rant, this place is genuinely awesome, all the baked goods are bomb, the coffee drinks are insanely tasty, and the employees are so kind. I finally get the hype, and it's in the form of their grilled cheese sandwiches! Excellent mochas, thirst quenching ginger lemonades, and fresh 'n flakey croissants. It can get busy, but this is one of the few places in town where it's worth the wait.
Today was my first time visiting the cafe and I will absolutely be back! Hot chocolate was one of the best I’ve ever had and breakfast sandwich was great! Bread was fresh and the environment was comforting. Staff was friendly and kind. Great experience, looking forward to coming back!
I love stopping at Woodstar for coffee and a sweet treat. I tried a bagel here yesterday and it was delicious. The service is quick and the environment is nice. It is a pretty small space but there are usually tables open. I highly recommend!
My baguette-loving son has said, “This is the best baguette I’ve ever had. It’s not even close.” Woodstar food is delicious. Be prepared for lines and close quarters in the cafe, because it’s very popular (for good reason).
My first choice for early AM coffee, croissant or scone, and relaxing with other Woodstar Cafe customers before the day starts up. If I am back in the area around lunch - a good choice for a great sandwich.
Rebecca salad is so simple: greens, apples and pears and red grapes, walnuts and sunflower seeds, and chevre. I got it without the cheese, with a side of balsamic. It was delicious and just what I needed for a mid-afternoon snack.

An “Emily’s favorite” sandwich paired excellently with a perfectly proportioned flat white and an apricot rosemary square. It’s safe to say, I was more than happy with my experience and will certainly be returning when I’m back in town.
